Removal of College Network Configuration Settings

Please note the following instructions are only applicable to staff and postgraduates who have had their computer connected to the College network in College offices and labs and are either leaving College or for some other reason no longer going to connect it to the College network and so need to remove the College Network settings. For users of Apple Macs please note it is only necessary to follow the instructions for the removal of web browser proxy settings.

Removal of Network Settings:

• Windows 8 Pro
• Windows 7 Professional
• Windows Vista Business
• Windows XP Professional

Removal of Web Browser Proxy Settings:

• Internet Explorer on PC
• Mozilla Firefox on PC
• Mozilla Firefox on Mac
• Safari on Mac OS 10.6/10.7
• Safari on Mac OS 10.5
• Safari on Mac OS 10.3/10.4
